The survey is conducted anonymously.
We do not collect any personal data that could be used to identify you. Registration is not required to participate.
Your responses will be used exclusively for scientific evaluation purposes. Your data will not be shared with third parties. We analyze the responses only in aggregated form. It is not possible to identify what an individual person has answered. Two staff members at the University of Vienna support us in analyzing the responses and will receive your anonymized data. However, these persons will not receive your email address if you choose to provide it (see below).
The survey is conducted using LimeSurvey. You can find LimeSurvey’s data protection information here.
At the end of the questionnaire, you will be asked whether you would like to be informed about the results of the study. If you wish to receive this information, you will be asked to provide your email address (on a separate page). It is not possible to link your email address to your responses. We will use your email address solely to send you the study results. It will be deleted afterwards.
In addition, at the end of the questionnaire, you will be asked whether we may contact you again at a later point in time, for example for a conversation or an interview. Only if you explicitly agree to being contacted again will you be able to provide your email address. Your email address will be entered in a separate input form. It is therefore not possible to link it to your questionnaire responses. We will use your email address only to contact you regarding further studies. In this case, your email address will be stored for a period of three years from the time of your consent.
The processing of your email address in the two cases described above is based on your consent for the respective purpose (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
You also have the right to request information about your stored data (email address), as well as to request correction or deletion. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority if you believe that data processing violates data protection law.
